A must-attend event for food safety

The BSA Forum (Barcelona Food Safety) brings together every year food industry professionals, microbiology experts, quality managers, distributors and technology providers around a shared goal: strengthening food safety.

After a first highly rewarding participation in 2025, we are proud to return this year to Vic, near Barcelona. The 2026 edition promises to be even more focused on technological innovation — a field in which Plug and Track has been operating for over 25 years.

The 2026 theme: emerging technologies to support food safety

This year, the BSA Forum highlights a topic of strategic importance for the entire industry: “Emerging Technologies to Support Food Safety”.

A theme that resonates directly with our DNA. For over 25 years, Plug and Track has been designing and evolving technologies dedicated to monitoring critical parameters in the food industry:

  • The Internet of Things (IoT) with our connected data loggers for continuous monitoring of temperature, humidity, CO2 and pressure
  • Cloud computing with our Thermotrack Webserve and WeeziCloud platforms, which centralize data and share it between sites, partners and regulatory authorities
  • NB-IoT wireless technologies to deploy autonomous sensors where the company’s Wi-Fi network is unavailable or unreliable
  • Real-time multichannel alerts via SMS, Email, WhatsApp or Push Notification to react before an incident becomes a major issue
  • Digital traceability compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 with a secure 10-year history and certified PDF reports

Our conviction at Plug and Track

We believe that food safety should never rely on human vigilance alone. A cold room breakdown at night, a cold chain disruption during transport, an insufficient sterilization process: these incidents can lead to significant financial losses, costly product recalls and lasting damage to a brand’s reputation. The technologies we develop exist to eliminate these risks automatically, continuously and with full traceability.

What Plug and Track brings to BSA Forum 2026

At this edition, we will be showcasing our flagship solutions designed specifically to meet the challenges of the food industry.

Real-time cold chain monitoring

Our connected data loggers from the IVY NB-IoT range allow remote monitoring of temperature, humidity, CO2 or pressure in:

  • Industrial cold rooms and freezers
  • Storage warehouses
  • Trucks and shipping containers
  • Laboratories and production areas

Thanks to their built-in NB-IoT SIM card, these data loggers do not depend on the company’s Wi-Fi network and operate everywhere, even in hard-to-reach areas.

Advanced refrigerated transport traceability

For the transport of sensitive products, our WeeziDot data loggers and the WeeziCloud platform allow shippers and recipients to share temperature data, wherever they are in the world. Full transparency, compliant with FDA – CFR21 Part 11.

Validation of sterilization and pasteurization processes

For manufacturers processing canned goods, ready meals or sterilized products, our Thermotrack PC software combined with waterproof iBee data loggers automatically calculates F0 and PV values, essential indicators to guarantee the microbiological safety of products.

Digital tools for HACCP compliance

Our cloud platform Thermotrack Webserve centralizes all data, generates automated PDF reports, sends alerts via Email, SMS, WhatsApp or Push Notification, and keeps a secure history for 10 years. A great way to greatly simplify audits and HACCP procedures.

Our partnership with Bioser, S.A.

For this 2026 edition, we will be present alongside our partner Bioser, S.A., a major player in Spain in food safety and hygiene solutions.

This partnership reflects our vision: food safety is a team effort. No single player can, on its own, cover all the needs of a food manufacturer. By combining complementary areas of expertise (microbiology, hygiene, environmental monitoring, digital traceability), we offer professionals comprehensive and consistent coverage.

Why meet us at BSA Forum 2026?

For quality and HACCP managers

Do you manage a quality system in a small business or a large food group? Come and discover how to fully automate your temperature monitoring and generate your compliance reports in just two clicks, without involving your technical team.

For logistics and cold chain managers

Do you transport sensitive products between multiple warehouses or countries? Our IoT solutions and connected data loggers allow you to track every shipment in real time and be alerted before a temperature excursion becomes a major issue.

For canned food and ready meal manufacturers

Do you validate sterilization or pasteurization processes? We will show you how our iBee data loggers and our Thermotrack PC software automatically calculate F0 and PV values and generate the reports required for your validation file.

For distributors and integrators

Do you support food manufacturers in their digital transformation? Let’s discuss a technical and commercial partnership to offer your customers a complete and differentiating solution.
